The lead singer of the heavy-metal band As I Lay Dying will stand trial on charges he tried to have his estranged wife killed.
Timothy Lambesis made a court appearance in the San Diego area today, where a judge decided there is enough evidence to try Lambesis on solicitation to commit murder charges.
The 32-year-old was arrested back in May after he allegedly asked an undercover detective to kill his wife, Meggan.
Prosecutors say Lambesis gave the phony hitman $1,000, photos of his wife, her address and a code for the residence's security gate.
