Richie Sambora says he expects to eventually return to Bon Jovi. The band's estranged guitarist still won't shed any light on just what's been keeping him away, but tells TMZ.com "it's gonna work itself out."
Sambora explains that he and band frontman Jon Bon Jovi "have a relationship of 30 years" and they "rely on each other," so he's confident a reconciliation will happen. Richie also admits he feels bad for the fans. Bon Jovi concert ticket sales have reportedly suffered from Sambora's absence.
Sambora abruptly left Bon Jovi's "Because We Can" trek without explanation back in April, and the group has continued the world tour with guitarist Phil "Phil X" Xenidis. Bon Jovi will be wrapping up the UK portion of the trek with shows this week in Glasgow and London.
The band will launch a short run of U.S. stadium shows in Chicago on July 12th.
