"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon's" Pearl Jam Week went a little bit country Wednesday night. Dierks Bentley took the stage with PJ guitarist Mike McCready to play the band's debut single "Alive."
Bentley says he's a big Pearl Jam fan, and even though he's played with McCready before, this was the first time he got to belt out one of the band's songs with the guitarist.
"Late Night" has been paying tribute to the grunge icons all week in celebration of their chart topping tenth album, Lightning Bolt. Chris Cornell and the Avett Brothers took the stage on Monday, while Robin Pecknold of the Fleet Foxes was there on Tuesday.
McCready is scheduled to return with the rest of his bandmates to close out the festivities on Thursday and Friday.
