Metallica may have another documentary on the way. The metal vets, who are gearing up for the release of "Through the Never" next month, just finished their first set of shows in China last week.
They played in Shanghai on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Lars Ulrich tells "Time Out Shanghai" that they made the last minute decision to bring along a camera crew. The drummer explains that they wanted to find a way to share the experience and hopefully bring their relationship with Chinese fans to the "next level."
Ulrich says he and his bandmates think "something cool" will come out of the footage, but they're not exactly sure what that will be. He says they might try to tie it into "Through the Never" somehow, but admits they really haven't come up with a concrete plan yet.
