Surviving Doors guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore intend to pay tribute to their late bandmate Ray Manzarek on his birthday.
Krieger tells UltimateClassicRock.com the details haven't been worked out yet, but they're hoping to host an event in Los Angeles on February 12th, on what would have been Ray's 75th birthday.
Robby adds that they'd like to have "some people that Ray looked up to," such as Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock, join them for the show.
Krieger also points out that if everything comes to fruition, the tribute show will mark the first time he and Densmore have performed together in "a long time."
Manzarek passed away in May following a lengthy battle with cancer.
