There was a gas leak today, December 26th behind the Co Opt Grocery store on Grandin.

As I arrived at the scene crews were located in the back parking lot of the store and nearby church as well as across the intersection of Memorial Ave and Grandin Road.

Police are on site directing traffic away from the intersection. Crews also evacuated some local businesses in the direct area. Gas smells were noticible from a few blocks away.  It looks as if as of 4:30pm the crews have the situation under control but be careful if driving thru the area to not stop abrubtly as it is very slick out! - JD
